This poem really grabs my attention not only because of the style but because of the way it shows how happiness is given out to other individuals. Happiness is huge in our lives and it really shows in this poem

I like the way this poem describes a heart as a growing seed and that there is beauty in every heart. The heart gets more efficient as it grows old just like a seed, until it gets too old of course.

I really like this poem because it shows all the types of friendships and what can come out of a friendship. But ultimately friendship means a lot to everyone.

I think this poem really hits the spot on friendship. It shows that we could not live without friendship because we rely on it too much. Friendship gets us through the toughest times of our life.

They mold a fake silver coin
From toxins they’re forced to join
It takes its toll on the skin
And tricks the blind mind to win

Nickel Cobalt and Chrome
That’s where the alchemists roam
To forge gold out of lead
A fool must smelt with your head

The metallic sheen that’s aglow
Bares a false toxic light bow
If an arc weld catches your gaze
Its brilliance leaves you in a daze

Scripture foretold long ago
Of the metal mind melding show

I like this poem because it shows the friendship and companion ship of those who make up fools gold. It replicates the way humans act as friends as well based on relying on one another.

I wish you a very happy New Year
because I can only wish but I can not

make you happy unless you yourself
want to make yourself truly happy.

Happiness is certainly a seed of wish
which need to exist there embedded

within your own self, within your heart
which need be nourished by pouring

little moisture of love, care and hope
which you derive from others in turn

by making them happy by your deeds
to allow it grow into a happiness tree.

I would not deny 
That I could not 
Dream or swim 
But it was in my dream 
Slipped in a deep of ditch 
My hands were tied 
Legs were not working 
I was drowning and drowning 
From deep to deeper I felt 
Suffocated and strangulated, 
As I would not be alive, I would 
Be dead, this gave me a cry! 
I had had a strong desire to be alive! 
A gust of energy in the form of help 
Entered in me as if it was dragging me 
With a help of a rope of hope 
To the shore of life, I jerked in joy 
I found myself alive and awake 
I gave a big thank and a tight hug 
To the rope of hope.

I really like this poem because it shows the importance of hope and how it reveals new life. What I got from this is that as long as you don't give up, you can accomplish anything imaginable.
